In a remarkable display of technological advancement, China introduced the world's first electric running humanoid robot named "Tiangong." This breakthrough was announced at the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, marking a significant milestone in robotic development. Tiangong, which stands at 1.63 meters and weighs 43 kilograms, can run at a speed of six kilometers per hour. This robot is not just a scientific marvel but also a template for future robotic applications, as it features open-source compatibility that allows other enterprises to explore uses in various industries like home services and manufacturing.

The launch event showcased Tiangong's ability to navigate complex environments, including running smoothly up and down stairs and adjusting its gait on the fly. This highlights its potential for versatile real-world applications. Developed by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center Company, Tiangong is equipped with advanced sensors and computing capabilities that manage intricate tasks and interactions.

The introduction of Tiangong at the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum, alongside other AI innovations, underscores China's leadership in integrating cutting-edge technology into everyday life, enhancing both the AI sector and broader commercial prospects for robotic technologies.
