Fabio Rezzonico Unveils Ergonomic Humanoid Robot

Como, Italy – Fabio Rezzonico, in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Technology and INAIL, introduces ErgoCub, a humanoid robot designed to enhance ergonomic interaction in the workplace. The robot features 54 degrees of freedom, fully articulated hands, and a flexible OLED screen for facial expressions. Its innovative design, combining 3D-printed parts and hidden magnetic strips, aims to reduce worker psychophysical risks. Recognized for its advanced technology, ErgoCub received the 2023 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
